Good morning and Happy Fried Day Eve to all!
Good morning and Happy Fried Day Eve to all!
Happy Fried Day everyone! Sunny here and the roof is getting there, supposed to be done today. Dad is quite pleased and Winston is enjoying the activity. Going back home this afternoon/evening as I have an interview tomorrow am, wish me luck, after all this time I'm sure I'll need it.
Cheers,
Hi cocktailers and cocktailees!
Well, it has been another lovely day, here in sunny Suffolk. The sun sure is gathering it's strength, and don't I just lurvvv it!
I have been busy making and wrapping candles and wax tarts for the biggest part of the day, but I did manage to get outside for an hour or two - I cooked the veg and grilled the meat outside on my camping gas stove, sunk a couple of glasses of wine whilst listening to 100 Best Rock Tunes Ever CD ... oh boy, it doesn't get better than that!
It's a big weekend for me - Lucia and Dan arrive here tomorrow, Teagan Matt and Abigail coming Saturday - we are all going to baby Isla's Christening on Sunday. There is a reception party afterwards, Dominic tells me there is free champagne ... oh boy - can't wait!
Hey Sues .... good luck with your interview tomorrow .... go knock 'em dead gal - fingers, toes and eyeballs crossed for you! xxx
Beans, beans musical fruit
The more you eat, the more you toot.
The more you toot the better you feel,
so let's have beans for every meal.
Good luck Sues!
Working Saturday this week, I think. Now that I'm getting caught up (ha ha) I'm getting some things done. Guess I'll go to Pine and get groceries - Dog and Wyo!
I YDC, Do you?
time for a grolsch
friday here
time for coffee
good morning everybody
Good evening/afternoon everyone.
It's Friday here as well Tony ...
I've just finished off my fish and chips, checking my YDC bids, then off to mop the kitchen floor before my family arrive.
Both dogs are filthy - we have had heavy rain and they have been play fighting and rolling about up in the playing field - darn!
Hope the interview went well Sues, have a good day out at Pine Wyo - no tooting though! (Unless you do it real sneaky ...lol!!!)
Thanks Trish, the meeting did go well; unfortunately, it wasn't a job interview per se, but just a meeting with my job counselor. She's really cool, though, if I could work with someone like her I think I'd really enjoy going back to work. She's set me up for an interviewing class (which will be most helpful, as I'm pretty sure I don't come across too well in person, as I either get too nervous and start babbling endlessly or else clam up in fright, neither of which is a good strategy when it comes to impressing people. Thank goodness bf is a babbler, too, otherwise I'd have struck out on that front, too, LOL)!
I'd say have fun with the cleaning up, but I know better. Need to do a bit of that myself one of these days. If only I could figure out where my motivation went... Enjoy the family time.
Cheers,
Hey Sues - your great, bubbly and positive personality radiates - so don't you ever go putting yourself down, young lady!
You don't need to impress people - people should be impressed by you!
I have received the family visitors, more arriving tomorrow - everyone is slumbering now, so I thought I would just catch up in case I don't manage to get online tomorrow.
Good Night and God Bless,
xxx
