Well, it sounds like Bobby Vee has driven the dingbat away. Never underestimate the power of good music (or good liquor)!

    Cheers,

This one is from my sons teenage years - but I like it anyway.

WOW! Wyo - class choon! Just love ELO - have you checked this one out? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UkekqVPIc2M

It may amuse you to know that this was on the jukebox when we kept our pub down in Cornwall and after a massive darts victory against a rival pub I ordered free drinks for everyone (much to JR's horror!) and proceeded to jive on two adjacent tables with my then teenage daughter Tracey. Next day, some of the rival pubs regulars wanted to sign up and play darts for us ... can't think why ..... lol!

I'm tired now guys after having a super day out with my JR - we both stuffed our faces with good food for our anniversary meal out - it was just perfect. Beautiful location, beautiful weather.
I have to be up early tomorrow as I have Isla again - so I will wish you all a very good night, and look forward to listening to some more choons when I can sneak on the computer when she has a nap!
Good night and God Bless xxx

Ha ha ha! Liz takes belly dancing lessons for the exercise mostly, but they had a performance during Frontier Days. She had purchased a skirt and since she is a little bitty thing - 5' maybe we had to shorten it. She is just learning to sew, so she brought the skirt to me and we borrowed a friend's serger for the job. I broke a needle first thing and we could never get it re-threaded again, so I used my Viking and it turned out just fine. It was a bit hard for her at first as she was used to dancing with it too long. I didn't go up to the performance as it was Onika's first day home after her surgery and it's a good thing because it didn't work as well as they had hoped. They had trouble with the sound system and the show was delayed a couple of hours. I am hoping to catch a performance in October.

Trish, glad you had a fun anniversary, wishing you lots of fun and good surprises tomorrow with baby Isla, (I just love that name! Good thing I don't have any upcoming kids, I'd steal it).

Wyo, wow belly dancing, I've heard it's supposed to be great exercise and lots of fun, (well, it looks fun the few times I've seen it performed anyhow).

    Cheers,
