It does sound strange hearing you talk about summer heat, when here we are thinking of winter. And the orchid is lovely. Mine have decided to take a rest from flowering, unless I have killed them all

Good morning. It's a frosty day here in our neck of the woods. At least it isn't windy ... right now anyway.

    Old, those are lovely pictures.

And Cyril is one creative squirrel.

I do wish I could manage to watch videos from this desktop. The audio has some kind of a windows glitch that I've never sorted out. It's been a long time since I've tried though. It's not the speakers because I can listen to music that I've ripped to the computer.

Will have to check out your music from the iPad.

This is not on topic but I can't figure how to start a new thread! Anyhow, today I got a message after going through the usual login that I can't proceed until I scan copies of personal ID's--examples given include passport, drivers' license, tax form!!! No way I'm going to do this and I'm wondering if anyone else has seen this and has a reaction. I've asked for a refund of my subscription fee (or at least a portion of it) Never ran into this on an online auction/sales site.

Hey - Tony's back! Hope ya had a good break Tony

meebs - My guess is that your orchids are going into their winter rest period, that's normal.
Meanwhile, down here, we are going to have 30c plus today. I think we are in for a very hot summer this year & I'm not looking forward to that

Thanks, Old. I thought that even orchids need a rest from flowering some time. And mine have done extremely well this year. And as to your summer heat - I am not envious. I do prefer cold to hot

You are not being singled out, this is part of the process that helps to reduce the number of scammers on this site.

It is usually triggered when a new seller/buyer tries to sell/buy an expensive item very soon after becoming a member, although other factors can trigger the request.

It is nothing to worry about, it is in place to help protect you.
