any know what or who the maker of this is please

i've had this gorgeous pot for a while and i haven't been able to find out who made it or where it was made or when. please look at the photos any help will be greatful.

i also have a perfume bottle the same. this is properly hand painted and lovely

Sorry, not a clue, though it sure is pretty. PW looks like artist initials, not sure about the F on the bottom, it may be a manufacturer's mark of some kind. Hopefully someone who knows pottery will be along soon to advise.

My first impression is that it's a piece from an amateur (but gifted) artist who may have been part of a china painting class.
So although it's hand painted and unique it probably isn't worth a great deal.

Nice vase though.

thanks guys it's one i'm keeping like i said i have a perfume or oil bottle the same and it is very pretty. just wanted to try and find out about it. thanks for trying

I'm agreeing with Pink on this one doggie. My husbands initials are PW and I know damn well it wasn't him who painted it - he's good with car problems but is not artistic.

The dragonfly on the last pic - could that be a transfer as it seems to me to be standing out from the background? Also, IMO, the colours are more inline with an amateur than a pro - the colours used are the same everywhere rather than being a mixed pallette.

Not that Im a huge connaiseur but I also think it is an 'ameteur' though talented artist.
Its very unusual and pretty. I would buy it.

no this is all painted no transfer prints on this piece it is standing out because of the paint if i can find the bottle i'll add the picture too.
