I was just shopping for a new postal scale. There are a lot of them for sale, but they are all being sold by a seller with a line through their name.
Now if they are suspended why are their listings still there?

Maybe they just need to provide additional information and not suspended? Appears ones who have not logged in, in ages are getting the line to????

That's the way eBid works. I would prefer suspended sellers items either went into their closed items area (as they cannot service sales, or maintain/delete listings while suspended), or at least were made so that BuyNow and Bid were not available (akin to being under a Holiday Notice).
If you are after postal scale then you may do better buying some digital kitchen scales. As soon as thye are classed as Postal Scales the price seems to shoot up. Most digital kitchen scales will go from 1 gram to 5 Kilograms with sufficient accuracy for postal needs.

Wot Astral said! I use an inexpensive digital kitchen scale and it is adequate for the job.

Depending on what you're seeking, I found a lovely jewelry scale, very reasonably priced, right here on eBid. The seller is based in Florida, one of our larger jewelry supplies sellers.
I agree with Mel, those items shouldn't be in the open sale area, more an annoyance to potential buyers than anything else.
Best wishes for many sales to all,
