Thread: Discount option on your items

  1. #1

Default Discount option on your items

    Just a quick question/poll.

Do you use the available discount option to reduce your items to entice buyers? If so how does it look? Does the buyer see the original price with the discounted price shown or just the discounted price?

I don't offer discounts here as my prices are already cheaper than anywhere else I offer my prints, including my own website

    I don't sell cheap stuff.
There will be no discounts on my watch, for 27 years I have toiled in my shop and been very successful.,
although we aren't listed in fortune 500 yet.
My prices equal to those who sell in retail, however the postage is a negative addition.
The local garbage truck will get em before I lower prices

I would suggest that anyone giving a discount is possibly overcharging ?...with the low prices most members say they are useing , how can they offer a discount , it sounds to me as if some are desperate to get a sale , at any price...sorry , but no discount here....my prices are well down for any collector / buyer......yes I do not sell a lot , but my prices are low...............papa.

Weird subject for a poll, but in case it matters to you, you forgot "I know it's there, but haven't needed it yet".

    Haven't used it yet.

But am toying with the idea of putting a routine in my listings database to add a discount at random to maybe 10 products each time I export the data for an eBid upload.

But then again, I might never get around to it.
