Thread: Sold cards being relisted?

  1. #1

    Default Sold cards being relisted?

I'm having an issue with cards that I've already sold being relisted.

3 cards of my have sold, been paid for, and I've sent them off. Feedback was left in all instances.

When I go through my store, these cards are still showing up as being listed.

I'm not sure why so if anyone could please let me know why this is happening, I'd appreciate it.

Could you have accidentally put up duplicate listings in the first place? If you did, some will probably still be there, so maybe check your current list for a clue.

Did you accidently relist them twice at any point ? (easily done).

Check to see if they have the same item numbers or not. When items are reposted they get another unique number If they have the same numbers get in touch with eBid support to sort out the problem. If they have different unique numbers just delete them.

Thanks for all the input. I appreciate it.

I'm going to go through and check all my listings again.

There were 2 cards in particular that I know I didn't relist as they were pretty expensive cards and didn't show up until a few days after the auctions had ended.

As pointed out, you have many duplicate listings. They seem to have been posted a day apart.

The most likely cause is if you uploaded your listings via Bulk Upload (either using Ninja Lister or the spreadsheet), and unintentionally uploaded the listings twice.

eBid should have spotted the duplicates and removed them. Though I have noticed that duplicates created using Bulk Upload seem less likely to be spotted than when duplicates are created when listing online. Maybe something eBid needs to look at in their Bulk Upload validation routines.
