Thank you everyone for your birthday wishes. Life is good, I feel much better in myself - healthier, younger, have more confidence and am in general so much happier now than I was this time last year - so the changes that I made last year were for the best - despite the upset at the time, the anxiety and upheaval that it all caused.

But - for my special half a century - I've had a brilliant day. I've been spoilt rotten, and am being pampered enough to be the envy of the highest paid celebrity ) and to end it off, I've had a mystery tour on this hot sunny afternoon on the bike finished of with a meal and cuppa with some friends ) What more could a lady want?
