Listing on 2 sites?

I like ebid, and want to make this my new home, but I'm not making any sales as of yet. I know it takes time to learn the routine, so I'm NOT being critical. However, I need to keep my cash flow going so I'd like to know if any of you are using a second site to sell certain items while listing them on ebid? The only problems I see in doing this is that I would have to close the auction on one site or the other should I sell an item, or by some unlike chance the item would sell on both sites at the same time.

IMHO there's nothing wrong with listing on multiple sites, as long as you're careful stock-wise. I don't do this myself, as I typically only have one of each item for sale, plus I'm lazy that way, but other sellers with more stock and/or multiples of similar items do so; am sure someone who does this will be along shortly to advise.

Sod's Law dictates that it will happen. As said, as long as you have the stock to cover such an eventuality then no problems. If you haven't - then you risk coming to grief.

I think I'll diversify myself, just not list the same items on multiple sites.

Found its not a good idea to put all my eggs in one basket as i have ample stock i list elsewhere, if had one off items would have to choose which site would suit my goods as sods law would mean a sale on 2 sites at same time.

I have everything listed here, and if the need dictates I will close it here and list it elsewhere. But never on 2 sites at the same time
