Do sellers ever answer buyers questions?

I happen to be a seller & have answered every question that was asked of me. But as a buyer I have asked sellers questions to get absolutely NO response. I purchased an Item & have asked the seller if the item was sent or if the seller could please complete shipping info. Its been 10 days & no item or response. I wanted to purchase these glowsticks & seller has been on vacation for 3 months. 6 nudges no reply. Asked another seller a size 3 nudges no reply. What is with these sellers? Then they come into the forums & complain why am I not selling anything?

Unfortunately, the two groups of sellers are not the same people. Those trying to sell will answer a question, but if you get no answer it probably means they've already moved on and left their listings abandoned. What I dubbed "dump and run" sellers a few years back, and it's still a problem today. This is why so many of us advise buyers to make contact before paying, in case their seller has gone.

I received a response rather quickly as a buyer. Unfortunately it wasn't the answer I was looking for nor do I believe it to be an answer eBid would want to hear.

I noticed this is a run until sold auction and I'm just checking if your still around on ebid prior to me showing this to my better half.

No, I did not follow through with the purchase. Hard to beleive seller still has listings here but won't sell through here. Wondering if I should even ask why he would do that?

To be honest I was kind of curious as to why. Does he have an issue with selling on eBid? If so what is it? Or is it just another venue to promote his goods? I think it might be interesting to find out. Sigh!

Probably just not selling fast enough and not prepared to put the work in, hardly rare.

I hope you reported it. They've only got 3 items for sale anyway. Then again, they are a seller+ so I don't think eBid would delete their account as they have paid for lifetime membership. Tough one this.

I hope you reported it. They've only got 3 items for sale anyway. Then again, they are a seller+ so I don't think eBid would delete their account as they have paid for lifetime membership. Tough one this.

They've broken the rules. At least a suspension and remove all items, surely?
