    Unhappy Stamp rationing

    Hi Guys,
Just heard on the news that royal mail are starting to ration stamps as there has been an increase in sales prior to the massive price increase at the end of the month.
Some places have sold out and won't be getting any more until after the end of the month! I think post offices must have plenty but who knows?

I must admit I did think about buying some stamps for christmas cards!!!! Could be a big saving and it seems a lot of people have been buying a lot- don't blame 'em..
The PO seem to be getting wise tho so best get some tomorrow!

    Cheers Alan

I'm still using up the stamps I bought about three price rises ago.

Me too. I find that although I've got a purse full of 1st class and large letter stamps I still need to go to the post office and buy postage for the packets. Ooh hang on, I've just realised that 3 large letter make 1 packet - whoo hoo, well done Royal Mail

I just bought mine and found there's no charge for using a credit card so I used my cashback card

Noticed at work a big increase in stamp sales at CSD - I wonder why?

I must also stock up on LL stamps - thanks for the tip, Bill.

Later: Notice that no 2nd LL stamp books are available to order online:

I think the rationing may be just the highstreet shops? surely if you went to a post office stamps would not be rationed there? (correct me if wrong)
