    Default Make an offer problem

I have had all my listings on 7 day auctions, plus buynows. I added "make an offer" and was disappointed to see that this removed the auction bit, and just left the "buy now". I will be returning to my old "auction price and buy now price" formats as soon as I can do the bulk edits again.

Think that would be considered a major 'glitch'...maybe put this thread under Website Glitches .. that way Gazza would see it quickly for you, perhaps?

But surely you can't have an auction option with a best offer also?

For instance, if a bid was made, then that would negate the possibility of a best offer on the BIN?

the way I see it, is that you could have an ideal auction price and a buy now price. What if someone wanted to haggle/ negotiate price, or make an offer on something? Its up to you whether to accept the offer or not but it could be on more expensive auction items where someone is interested but wants to haggle, which, within reason, I am open to. So you could have all three.

I have not used "make an Offer" listing, but is this not the way it works? If I was a buyer, and knew your open bid at auction (lowest price you will accept), why would I make an offer for more $$$$?

what if you wanted to buy two or three items, and wanted to know if I might do a discount for a bulk buy? People PM to ask about things, but make an offer is more visible.

As a buyer for extra items, I would ask a "question", on your discount, which would show up on invoice. How do I "make an offer" on multiple items as a buyer?

Yes. So the MAO option would be superfluous except for BIN only listings.
