Adult filter impossible to locate

I have been happily using this site for some months now, blisfully unaware of the existance of any adult content. One day an option popped up on the screen to remove the adult content filter. Well, as a former user of 'that other big name auction site' who don't allow such listings the idea that there might be adult content here never occured to me!

I am now trying to locate the adult filter once again and I'm damned if I can figure out where it hides. I can't find a way to make it appear when searching and I can't find it in My eBid. It seems to me that selling in the adult section is a really bad idea as nobody can find the damn thing! It should be a lot more clear that it is there to be used, or not used.

To browse the adult items,click the buy tab at the top.Scroll down to Whatevers Left,click the plus sign then click Adult.If your're not signed in you'll be asked to.You then click a button to confirm you're over 18 years old.

Thanks for that, however i really do feel this feature is not very intuitive. I bet there are many people using the site who are completely unaware of the filter, each one is a potential lost sale. It's one of a whole raft of badly designed processes on the site. For instance I spent ages adding and adding and adding catagories to a store earlier only to give up, come back later and find out it had tons of them! It was accepting my instructions but not updating the screen to reflect them unless I manually refreshed after each one.

I'm a bit confused. I took your initial post as referring to your not thinking that adult material should be listed on eBid and that you weren't aware that it was. I had assumed that you were talking about finding the adult filter so that you could set it to avoid accidentally bringing up listings that you might find offensive. This seems perfectly logical to me. However, I'm curious about "'that other big name auction site' that doesn't allow such listings." Surely you are aware that the bay has an adult category, right?

The Bay has quite an extensive Adult section. LOL.
