Yes, I use my iPhone for internet shopping all the time, I can check or pay for items when I am not at home. I find it
really useful. I can also look at any bids that may be made on my sales, while I am on the move.

Just today on my iPhone & iPad I did the following
Buy an item on the other auction
Uploaded photos to my website
Ordered an item from Argos
Bought my groceries from Adsa
Bought tickets for a theatre show
Wrote on Twitter & Facebook
And wrote this post (the hardest thing to do on the whole list)
In fact I haven't used my pc at all today
Edited to add
I also bought my lottery via my iPhone but didn't win

My posts only state my own opinions, unless I've stolen them from someone else
If you look at the stats the numbers are growing fast and I think are up to 25% at the moment. So it is one people can't ignore, as some people use only their phones and are no longer bothering with the PC.
Statistically, at the present rate of growth of the smart phone and tablet use, pc's will be used less than mobiles within 5 years.
If Gazza is slow with the app, we'll miss the boat
I wonder when the eBid app will be ready. It'll be a step in the right direction to helping promote eBid and for future sales and buys.

Please have a look. I combine postage wherever possible.
As Julie says the API will allow sellers to track stock across multiple sites. When it arrives it should help existing sellers, for example there is a major book seller who sells across multiple sites who has recieved quite a few negatives for selling items that were not in stock, the API will help them control the stock better to avoid this. They will also be able to link in with other systems they have easier.
The API will also encourage new sellers to join, especially larger ones and could lead to an increase in listings.
Personally as I only list on eBid I am waiting for the mobile app more, as I think this could potentially lead to more sales. The use of mobiles is increasing at an enormous rate and eBid needs to get on board that growth.
