When I look at the number of views an item has I can't help but wonder if Google Spider & the like count.I would be guessing no but does anyone know for sure?

I would think they would. They are crawling all over the forums, you can see them if you go to 'Quick Links -> Who's on Line' so I imagine they would be hitting on listings too. I have a view counter on my own website and I know the bots and spiders make that number rise so I suspect it would be the same here. Can't say for sure though.

As I understand it, some hit counters count bots and some not.

I am pretty sure that my Google analytics does.
But the bots seems to be very eratic.
