    Angry Please choose only one

I have over 2500 stamp listings, & ive had enough, of a lot of them either dissapearing from ebid categories or ending up in another. eg
tonga ended up in bulgaria, tokelau ended up in other european countries & on it goes. All of africa went to 'please choose only one' the same with asia.
this happens a lot and im fed-up & tired of checking through my listings and having to change them to the correct (stamp) Ebid subcategory.
Do other store holders here have this problem? would love to know how many of us there are.
Seems to me this site is a bit unstable, making me unstable.
How many years has ebid been around & still trying to get it to work correctly, maybe its worth the $600 or so to create ones own web-site? or conversely, to go to delcamp, but that site has got too big to be seen, where to from here????
    ALL FEEDBACK APPRECIATED:

crazy jay is right. Del now has a 12p (0.19 AUD) plus 5.5% FVF and a lot of sellers, including some of the really big boys (100,000+ listings) are packing up shop over there. Plus the have just opened up a Premium section (over priced items) which is the road that del want to go down now (does that sound like somewhere else)

As to your question, I have never had the problem you have.... everything ends up where it should.... are you importing your listings to here, in which case could it be a "problem" with the cat's from one site to this one. (just a thought)

    ‘’Nigel’’…where are the buyers…?....still on ‘’Del’’…or…?
    The Buyers….all that matters…
Big guys with 100.000.000 or more items can’t really on buying from each others or similar things…some probably has too much own money invested in that stuff…
I don’t know how before those big guys have sales on ‘’Dell’’…I don’t know if some of big guys paying for that ‘’premium’’ if so must be good reason…but eBid is here and big guys can come in here and try….right…?

I have noticed that when a stamp category is changed, that the original general category disappears from my listing. I noticed, because I amend the wording on my listings when I realize that the title can be improved.

South Africa is an example - the category is now divided into several South Africa subcategories, with no original general South Africa, so my listing no longer appears anywhere in a South Africa category, but my listing will appear in a general search.

However I am finding that the improve country listings in the stamp categories are better suited now than previously.

Is there a search we can do to see if our listings have any missing categories?

the big guys are french and there is, I think, a french site that specialises in stamps, so thats where they went...when it comes to postcards Mospostcards and a few others are no longer listing the new stock there but are listing it here instead

One way you could try is to down load your stamp inventory

Then manually check the category results for both eBids and your own shops categary information.

Blanks should stand out like a sore thumb.

yes GB, this is the problem im having and there seems to be no way of finding the lost cat's that i know of, i tried exporting to ninja lister then scroll through that list to see what doesnt have a cat' with it, but all seems to be ok in the lister. This method i used before to find missing links and found them, but not this time, maybe you can try this method and see what you find, let me know how you get on.
    good luck.

I don't think the site is unstable,
    the reason
Africa & Asia & possibly others went to "please choose only one", is because eBid added lots of stamp categories as requested by other members,
seems they're damned if they do, & damned if they don't.
