Though it is in the mint family, I wouldn't use it based on the comments you posted.......sounds like a salesman trying to unload a lot at an expensive price. Not sure why some states don't allow it. But if you feel the need for tea - only you can decide. I'd do a lot more looking into it first. Just because someone says it's ok for you doesn't mean it is. Doesn't sound like you are after tea.

Haven't had dandelion tea, though sage tea is nice, and helps a bit with hot flashes.

My favourite tea is Russian Caravan, followed closely by Orange Pekoe.... Lovely stuff...
