What is lion's tail? It sounds yummy and vaguely dangerous...

I usually stick to peppermint tea and the occasional cup of green or white.

Best wishes for many sales to all,

Heres the Info I Have Just Found On It...

Lions Tail Information:Lions tail, Leonotis leonorus, Dagga flower, all of them are the same, but it is more common to hear the name lions tail ,it is a plant that is used by the Hottentot tribesman of South Africa. Lions tail has different uses, it is used as medicine and an ornamental plant, as a substitute of marijuana and may be more, honestly I don’t know, lets check the lions tail information one by one. Lions tail as ornamental plant: the color of lions tail are red and black, personally I think it is a beautiful plant, people usually recommend that you put it behind some kind of salvia,, also if you want to use the lions tail as ornamental plant you have to put it in a place where the plant can receive six hours of sun per day (at least), something curiosu and good of lions tail is that this plant reseeds itself, but this is just when the plant is in a hot place, when the plant is in a cooler place you have to plant it again every late spring or summer. Lions tail also helps your garden look better, hummingbirds love this plant ( also some children because of its honey) if you have a lions tail plant it will be common to see a hummingbird on the top of the lions tail, these birds look beautiful. Now lets see lions tail information when it is used as medicine. I think that this is the best benefit that we can get from this plant, if you make a tea with Lions tail you can have a very good hypnotic focus, we have to remember that some people use the hypnotic trance to relief traumas of things like that. Lions tail is used for people with asthma, the results are good, to relief coughs, fever, high blood pressure, snakebite, hitching and muscular cramps, bronchitis and many others . The only think that I can’t tell you is which you have to prepare the plant for this, but I am sure that there are some web sites which can tell you that. Talking about lions tail as medicine I can say that I have read many testimonies that this plant works very well, we have to remember that in these days plants as medicine are very popular and this popularity is not just for free. Lions tail is also used as a substitute of marijuana, have you used marijuana? And, did you like the experience? So did I, the bad thing here is that sometimes it’s hard to get marijuana, because it is prohibited, just with the use or possession of it can send you to jail, when I tell you that there is legal marijuana, you should believe me! Its name is lions tail, you don’t go to jail for having it, or have have to be hiding to get it, you can get it from internet and its prize is really low. Well, the effects that you will get are going to be the same as marijuana. This is all the lions tail information that I can give you, I hope it is useful.

    What is Blue Lotus?

The Blue Lotus flower is found on the shores of the Nile River in Egypt but also as a powerful symbol in ancient Egyptology. Because of the flowers unusual characteristic of opening in the morning and closing in the early evening, they believed the Blue Lotus flower held the key to creation of the universe.
    Uses:

The Blue Lotus flower is used as an aid for many ailments as well as for recreational use. Many people buy blue lotus

    • To relieve pain
    • To enhance memory
    • To increasing circulation
    • As a sexual aphrodisiac
    • To experience feelings of euphoria and ecstasy

    Method of Use:

Typically users use Blue Lotus in three ways:

    • Soak around 10 grams of petals in wine for a couple of hours. Then simply eat the leaves.
    • Use a loose tea filter and submerge 5-10grams of Blue Lotus Petals in hot water to make a nice Blue Lotus Tea.
    • Grind up the leaves and use in a pipe or bong. Take 5 hits and chill.

    Blue Lotus Effects:

The effects of Blue Lotus are typically mild which is why it is so popular amongst experimenters. You can experience a mild version of many (much more potent) substances like MDMA, Marijuana and even Opium. Blue Lotus is in no way addictive and is a nice inexpensive way to augment your mood for a nice relaxing weekend.

Though it is in the mint family, I wouldn't use it based on the comments you posted.......sounds like a salesman trying to unload a lot at an expensive price. Not sure why some states don't allow it. But if you feel the need for tea - only you can decide. I'd do a lot more looking into it first. Just because someone says it's ok for you doesn't mean it is. Doesn't sound like you are after tea.
    Ta-Ta for now!

Sounds interesting, but think I'll pass for the time being.

Haven't had dandelion tea, though sage tea is nice, and helps a bit with hot flashes.

Best wishes for many sales to all,

Just a quirky little feature of perimenopause, compounded by hot weather.

Best wishes for many sales to all,
