Building an Ebid business

Hey guys,

Though I would introduce myself.

My name is Martin and I am 27 years old, have been selling on e**y for about 8 years.

My wife (apennysaved) found this site a few months back, so here I am.

As some of you may know, our baby is due any day now..... so baby depending I am going to start moving items across from the other site onto here.

At the moment, i have approx 75,000 sports cards to list here, so I will be starting with them.

I have been reading the forums for the last few months, and have picked up quite alot of good ideas and things to avoid here on ebid.

My e**y business was giving me a part time income, and now my main aim is to be able to make a living from selling on ebid. I know this may be a long way off, but heres hoping!

Well I know the more I write here the less time i have for listing, so see you all around!

With 75,000 cards to list and a baby on the way you are certainly going to be busy!

With that many listings, along with the fact that you have taken note of what is said on the forums and will follow the (generally) good advice, you should be able to make sales on eBid.

And If I can just ask you to keep something in mind as you start listing.....

The Baseball Cards for sale on the US site = 57,790

That should mean some competition........

How many of those 57,790 have Baseball in the title? = 6,562
And how many have Baseball Card in the title? = 1,247
Ok, so that category includes stickers as well but only 17 have Baseball Sticker in the title.

Keeping that in mind you actually have very little competition on here.
