I have always had replies (useful helpful ones to boot) from support within a couple of hours.

Ok - how about this one.

This week I had two purchases on the same evening from two different stores of mine. The name of the buyer was the same on both except the last digit (they ended in different single digit numbers).

SO when I come on to send the invoices both of the buyers (probably the same I'm assuming) - are no longer registered.

So, then I cancel the sales as suggested, but not sure how to get back the FVF, since they are no longer registered I don't believe I can leave egative feedback for that. Any suggestions?

A lot of us know who you are talking about. Quite a few of us have been 'had'; I had 2 sales from 'that' buyer. I contacted eBid and asked what the status of that buyer was because of the strike through. They told me they had concerns about the member and that my FVF had been refunded.

You must contact support@ebid.net and let them know who the members are and what the auction ID's are - they will get back to you pretty promptly and will suggest you cancel the sales as they did me.

I was able to leave feedback and, because no money passed hands etc I gave neutrals with:
cancelled sale as recommended by eBid support

    Hope this helps

    Back to the OP

This is another case of admin running off someone who had bought and paid for hundreds of items on eBid with their senseless treatment

Not someone but someones - member has at least 4 accounts that I know of and most probably why eBid placed strikes through their names?

The same happened to me this week. The same buyer purchased three items. I thought perhaps things were starting to happen. Only to find out that I could not generate a voucher for the first sale. Response showing up on my dashboard was eBid was validating member. This person proceeded to do two more purchases which I could generate vouchers for.

I contacted eBid support and found out that member was terminated and they informed me they would credit the fees back to my account. It appears that individual made 16-17 purchases all in one night. All of the feedbacks were negative with the same response from all of the sellers.

eBid instructed me that I had option to claim back Final Value Fees 3 days after second payment reminder in the After Auction Log has been posted. You must have left negative or neutral feedback for the buyer and reported the bidder as a NPB (non paying bidder). Then you will see "Refund Final Value Fee" in the AAL drop down menu. Hope this helps.

    Good luck.

Thanks for the input. what I found interesting is that when they made the purchases their number was '0' - but now when I looked them up (still with a strike through) their numbers (as they bought from 2 accounts) are both in the negative.

This sounds consistent with someone opening a new account - then making many purchases right away - then getting shut down - then getting negative feedback from the disgruntled seller. Does that sound about right, or am I way off on that thinking?

Sounds about right. My buyer had the 2 on the end
