What about putting a flyer in a package promoting ebid?

For all your sales on other sites we could all talk about the importance of moving to ebid. And to come check it out. Has anyone started doing this, have you had success with your customers coming over?

I've heard quite a few people put fliers in parcels from other sites that point out eBid as another site. I'm sure there have been some successes with it.

Been doing this for years, started way back when, when I had my bricks & mortar store and did mail order. It does work, I have had many buyers come back and buy items I have featured on the flyer. Each one is targeted at similar items to that first purchased.

I use an A4 flyer with pictures of items as well as prices.

I do put a packiing slip with links to my store here, but as far as I know, no one has joined up - at least if they did, they didn't use my buddy link!

I put a "we are cheaper on ebid" flyer into every parcel along with my business card. It's got to be worth a shot.

If you have an interest in which other site your customers have come from,you could offer a discount with a site specific code to quote.
e.g.
Amazon Am1234
Ebay Eb1234
Etsy Et1234
Ecrater Ec1234
etc.

Does anyone have maybe a Flyer Template that they use? It's holiday time, and I'm wanting to promote my Ebid Store even more, and if someone has some sort of template that would be awesome!
