    Default Seller+ Lifetime, confusion

Hello all, I just paid the $49.49 for Seller Plus Lifetime but at the top of my page it only says Seller+ next to my name, i do not know if that is normal or it may have been a mistake. Is there any way to check and make sure I am Seller+ Lifetime? also I did notice when i signed up i seen Totally free listings and fees but after posting some first auction on here there was a 2% fee if sold, so there must be something i'm missing.
    Any info will be helpful.

    Eric

Not sure about the lifetime showing.

But you only pay the 2% fvf if you use a gallery listing. Most sellers on ebid do use gallery listings.
But you can do without the gallery photo and pay no fvf as it says.

I have always said that ebid should say there is a joining fee of $49.95 and a 2% fvf fee.
That is still a great deal.
Then they could say you don't pay the fvf if you don't use a gallery pic.

I'm a Lifetimer - but all it shows me next to my name is the Seller+ - Go to My Ebid -> My Subscriptions (link on the left lower down) , and you should see :
    Current Subscription
Your current status of your subscription is SELLER+ Lifetime
Your current subscription expires/expired on Never

Change/Upgrade Your Subscription No Upgrades Available
as for the FVF - there's no LISTING fee , FVF is charged when using gallery (photo with listing) but ONLY when you make a sale. There's also extra charges for bonus listing features as well (Multiple photos, etc)

But, a lot of it is only if you make a sale , so it is *far and away* better than you'll find most anywhere else - They *have* to charge a fee somewhere to pay for the website and hosting. I'd hardly complain at 2% when you can end up paying as much as 10% - 15% at WheeBay
Many changes yet again, started a new venture, and you can watch my store grow here: Really Rural Woodworks

For info. on the different membership levels go to:

    http://us.ebid.net/help_register.php#1a

Seller+ is the normal designation for all seller+ members. 2% FVF is charged on gallery listings when items sell; free listings are available to seller+ members without thumbnail pix, but as most buyers bypass these listings, gallery listing is the way to go.

    Oh and welcome to eBid.

Best wishes for many sales to all,

I too got confused about upgrading to Seller+. Rather it was last month, or the month before, ebid had a special running. For the entire month, you could sign up for Seller+ for only $49.49.

I logged on to eBid today to see if that deal was still offered, and I seen the big red $49.49 on the front page. So, I went to the bank, made a $50 deposit, came back, and found that I was misled. That $49.49 also had a big red asterik with tiny, light gray text stating that deal is only good for those who just signed up within 24hrs..

Anyhow, if they can open that deal up for an entire month to anyone, then they can open that deal up to me now. I have the money on the card for that purpose.

It likely is still available to you: http://mootango.webspace.virginmedia...idkb.htm#a0065

It is an offer though, and eBid can place whatever conditions and restrictions on it that they wish. They are not obliged to extend an offer outside of its stated bounds to you, or to anyone else.
