Thread: Christmas irony

My neighbour and I have come to an agreement; he won't annoy everyone with loud music and I won't let the air out of his car tyres.

Noisy neighbours are a pain. I sympathise.

I once had neighbours who partied regularly and played their music so loud that I had to keep windows locked and I still couldn't hear the TV. It didn't seem to matter how many times the police came out.

The people across the street have a diesel pickup that really gets on my nerves. They've deliberately made it as loud as possible. It's amazing how that stupid pickup truck can set my blood to boiling.

It really doesn't take much to be a good neighbour. Being quiet is an important item on the list.

It is called "The Work Song", probably among other names. I think the tune was written by Lowell Mason. Here's a youtube performance that sounds like a MID. Hope it rings a bell for you.I
