just had a buyer buy 2 items then tell me they only wanted one ( so I cancel one and send a new inv politely ) then they leave me a neg because they cant work out how to pay for the item.
have asked them to put it right and spelt out how to pay by paypal or by cheque in words that I hope are simple enough, will wait to see what happens next.

I don't see any Paypal option in your sold listing.

maybe that is something I missed out then, but he only needs my email addy to pay manually and he had emailed me about buying 2 and wanting to cancel 1 and had a reply from me, soon after that he marked it as paid and asked for the info so he could pay by cheque ( I checked the invoices and both had my name and address on them ).
going to edit the other item now as I relisted the second one

Yes thats one of my fall back options.

I have an invoice template already set up within PayPal.

Its really easy and the invoice number automatically increases each time (as you would expect) by 1 so its a great tool.

would have done if he had told me he was having a problem but after canceling one item the next thing I knew was I got a neg and he had marked it paid and told me he had not paid.just got another mail from him saying he left the feedback for ebid and not me

Looks like he changed the fb to positive, that's a good sign.
