Closing All My Stores for shipping updates

I will need to close all my stores to update all of my shipping prices.

I'm gobsmacked at the international prices - most of them have doubled in price *feeling quite faint*

I need to look at this also, as USA shipping cost up also. The task seems daunting. Can this be done via bulk editing?

Horrendous - all the work involved in altering your postage costs!

That was one of the reasons I included shipping inthe price so if I had to do any adjustment it could just do a bulk edit - couldn't work out if I could bulk edit shipping prices! I can be so untechnical at times...

Slightly O/T but here in NZ the post office want to cut back six days postal delivery to 3 days to save costs.
Hopefully the government will let them and this may avert continued prices rises which are killing low value item sales on line.

Is this a recent increase? If so, I shall just delete the option. Can't be doing with all that work when I sell so little overseas.

I think the increase is FROM the US TO the UK.....

How strange. You mean it is more to send something from US to UK than from UK to US?

Well, it's the US rates that are changing, as I understand it. A letter is now about $2, if I read it right......about £1.40 ish......

The rates went up yesterday. International First Class prices from the U.S. have more than doubled.

As I am in the USA, yes, that is what I am referring to - all international mail.
