Default Arrrgghhhhhh need a rant .....

Just having a little rant after a meltdown, I sold 5 items and manually added the postage because they're all going overseas. When I checked the invoice after sending one item had it's postage not added so I deleted the invoice and tried again, same thing. Emailed buyer explained what was happening and apologised for the wrong price and stated how much it should be. Tried again with the invoice and had to fiddle about with the shipping until I could finally work it out without it disappearing. Grrrr Anyway ty for letting me rant, no-one is in the house to hear me so I came here

    That's also happened to me

Best way round it is to cancel original invoice via the AAL and send a new one with an explanatory note/email.

Thanks for listening, coffee has been made, I just hope the buyer accepts apology and pays, what a start for a new buyer with me cancelling and resending invoices. I never thought of just doing it through paypal meebo, doh would have saved time. Never mind at least things are selling.

The rest of the day went quite smoothly thanks. Two other sales both paid so that was nice. No word from the buyer of the invoice that was wrong, so will have to wait and see what happens there. Coffee and a game on facebook calmed things down lol.
Hope everyone else's day went well

Let us know the exact steps to recreate the problem with example IDs or send us a screencast and we will look into it.

    Thx.

Jeez gazza recreate the problem all I can say is it was prob my fault for not having the totals in the international bit so that they went on the invoice automatically. Buyer bought one item which I sent an invoice for then asked if I could wait while they bought more. So I cancelled the first invoice done a 2nd which said postage for the 1st item I only put postage in for another 2 items as I discounted postage but when I sent it, it only had the 2nd and 3rd item postage and set the 1st item at zero. Never mind all is sorted, buyer is not happy though so I have offered to cancel the sales for them if that's what they want. They don't think it's fair that I was allowed to actually delete the invoice and add postage to it afterwards and send another one. i understand where they are coming from but for the 1st item the postage was £7.50 (airmail post) then I only added £2.50 for another 5 items which took it to £10.00, but they were happy when it only said £2.50 for postage, even though they had the fist invoice with £7.50. Think I'll just ask for items to be paid on their own invoices when sent and not try to add to them in the future. I'm sure it's nothing that's wrong here just my big mistake
    Ty x
