    Hi Madelaine

I'm afraid its a question of list it and hope-the stamp sellers on Ebid seem to be selling well for the most part in most areas, though early pre-1900 stamps are not exactly prominent.
Just so you know, I am a keen collector of Australia, Canada, New Zealand and have just started a new collection of Antarctica. My wife collects by theme, especially Birds, Animals, Olympics and Disney and for some reason Faroe Islands.

PM me if you want any assistance

    All the best

    John

Why have you replied to a thread which was last active over NINE years ago?

Well, since my thread has resurfaced, I'll tell you all that I've listed a tiny proportion of what I have to sell and they do sell... but, as Nigel said, I need lots and lots listed to get the sales. (just like a stamp shop - tons of stock to get a sale)
    Madelaine

4 shops for Cats Protection & Prospect Hospice
    My Postcard Shop
    BK Stamps for Philatelic listings
    & Yarnalong for craft patterns
    and
Lotzabitz -anything that doesn't belong in one of the other shops.

Like you Madelaine, lots of stamps to list when I've got some more time. I stopped collecting years ago - not opened a stamp shop (yet) but I have a name in mind and shall be selling in large boxed quantities to get them away. I have got a few FDC's and sets listed, but no where near enough to open a shop!

Oh, open the shop from the start - it will save editing later.

I agree with Madelaine. Open the shop. As long as there is at least one item in the shop it will remain open. It is easier to list new items into a shop rather than add items retrospectively.

Thanks - yes you're right, I've been building my Hard Rock cafe pins and it was easier adding more than bringing in all those bulk uploads from OBAY
I'll do that the weekend. Thanks both

Tons of stock, yes. The reason I have 20,000 Ebid feedback is because I have 46,000 items listed. That has taken a while to build up.

And Stamp buyers are more likely than many to leave feedback, I find.
