20 characters to one word in a title is not enough

Please could this limit be removed

and...

when a user edits an item and the edit doesn't "stick" - two examples are editing a multiple listing down to one item and the typing of a 20+character word in an item title - could the system please say that it has not accepted the edit.

I edited my 20+ word 4 times this afternoon. This is my time you are wasting!

German tends to the Portmanteau word. It is easy and cheap to make jokes about it but my listing looks illiterate to a German speaker now!

(the German for glove is Handschuh to give you a flavour of the way it works)

Learn something new everyday. But if that is the correct translation it's three words...hmmm.........

Oh, yes, that is correct but, like I said, German does shoving words together to make just one which means a lot.

Definitely would want to know if took the time to edit and it didn't "stick". Think, at the very least, there should be notification of that.

This matters - just because few forum users have commented, doesn't mean it is trivial. I suspect that few forum users are German speaking! I don't know what other languages might yield long words.
