Ode to an Atheist
"Now this is a story all about how
my life got flipped turned upside down,
I'd like to take a minute just sit right there,
I'll tell you how I became an atheist in a town called Montclair
In Southern California born and raised
In the Inland Valley church is where I spent most of my days
chillen out, prayin, relaxin all cool
worshiping a god like a theistic fool
When a couple of girls who were a bit rash
started making trouble in my bible study class
I got in one little debate and they got scared
and said "You are going to hell to live in eternal despair!"
I stormed out of class and I never went back
The book that they called the "bible" was no longer fact.
If anything I could say this book was rotten to the core
But I thought "eh forget it I dont care anymore"
Since that day forward it was April 8th
I yelled to the sky "Yo "god" smell you later"
In a place of enlightenment I was finally there
and now I am a baby eating heathen in a town called Montclair!"

Interesting. I took a course on religion and the teacher was an Agnostic. The only people who came out unscathed in the class were Christians, Atheist, and the teacher. The Agnostic students left not knowing what they actually believed.
