    Question Help needed please

    Hi all, Had a buyer pay through Google for items and he says he hasn't received them. Google has already transferred the money into my bank account cos it's been over a month so my balance is empty there. How do I make a refund? Does anyone know if google take the money back out of my bank account to repay the buyer? Been searching and can't find an answer so any help would be great.

    Will be interested to know the answer from the Google experts out there ... just started using Google.

    It took the buyer over a month to let you know they didn't receive the item?

    Yes just over a month, but they are in the US so they waited in case it was held by customs. Not had to do a refund through google before so I'm hoping some one can help.

    If I remember correctly, they don't take money from your bank, they take it from your card that is registered with Google checkout. I am 98% sure that is what happened after I refunded a buyer through google checkout

    Thanks, I've filed a lost parcel claim with the Post Office, Google have refunded the buyer and my balance is negative now. Nice lady on google tried to help and from what I could understand unless I get another payment that they can deduct it from they will get in touch and ask me to refund them by card, I've only got my bank account registered with them but they don't take it out of that. She told me to wait until I've been contacted by them. Was good that they refunded with my balance being on zero.
