    Default ebid - buyer freindly?

Please stop the annoying sales pitch when I login - you know what I mean - the big advert encouraging me to upgrade to Seller etc etc.

I am on here as a buyer only and intend to stay a buyer with no intention of selling

If you click the "not interested" link the upgrade details will go away forever.

I can't see the "not interested" link - where is that, please?

    - or do you mean "no thanks, hide upgrade information" on top right? - it only goes away for that session

The cookie is set for a long time, it shouldn't be appearing at the start of a new session. Are you automatically clearing your cookies when your browser closes?

If it set for along time, that is not forever - which is what I want it to do.

    - and yes, I clear my cookies - good practice

Gazza hid that ad behind sell advertise it there I have had 5 people tell me they wont buy on this site because they cant find their dashboard Interested sellers will click on sell and those who want to just sell a few things and not sign up for life will go through that ad to list an item or 2. Buyers want it to be quick and simple with no hassles.

Yes and it is human nature not to look at everything on a screen.

err, don't follow all of that - but I do know where the Dashboard is: below the BIG advert which is annoying to buyers.

I would like the advert to disappear forever please - it's not difficult

Very interesting. Some ask for buyer imput, as sellers and eBid really do need their imput. Have heard this complaint in various threads, and think it needs to be dealt with very soon. The solution can not be left up to the buyer to sort out. They simply want to buy. I think that is simply what every seller on eBid wants them to do. I think eBid wants them to buy also. It is possible that my assumptions are off course. I hope not.
