Default I need help with army men.

I was hoping someone could give me some insight into these army men. Maker, era, war etc., would be very helpful. Every single one of them has a different number on the bottom. I have about 30 of them all in the poses pictured. Sorry for the link to the picture, I haven't figured out how to get a picture in my posts yet and I am sick of trying. Thanks.

Rather odd for toy 'soldiers' as they have no helmets (which would be unlikely detachable) and the 'uniforms' appear a little odd. If it wasn't for the one on the right I would be tempted to speculate that they are not combatants but character figurines from something larger.

Whoever they are it looks like quadruplets enlisted together.

I agree with astral. My brother had a very large collection of plastic toy soldiers and I've never seen any like this. If you look at the faces they look of eastern origin. The 'uniform' is not something I've seen before and no helmets just doesn't make sense to me.

Also, these soldiers had weapons in their hands which seem to be missing.

Astra has a point. No helmets. The earlier models have helmets if I'm correct. If I were you I'd Google this by years. Start looking for info from collectors blogs and sites.

Get the loupe out and check for hallmarks or any mark for that matters.

    Good luck

I remember having some similar when I was a kid that had removable weapons and helmets. I think they may have been "Britains" but cannot be sure (it was a long while ago). There are a few companies still making these type.

bluebedouin thanks so much for the tips. I would have never figured that out on my own. I will have to go through them again and double check for marks

Need to re-size it to under 500 px before you insert it.
