I recently sold an expensive item to American buyer (I;m from the UK) who has a feedback of 0 and his status is "inactive", his user ID crossed out. What does it mean and what I shell do? Any advise is welcome!

I have had this. it is possibly eBid protecting you from an attempted fraud. If you can reclaim the FVF on the dropdown then do so, otherwise contact support and they will refund. I would also relist the item. Unfortunately though you have probably not made the good sale.

If you care to give me the info on this person, I will look into it for you on this side. Perhaps I can track him down and see what is happening and see if I can get you paid back. I am retired from a police agency and I am not sure that I can help but I would appreciate it if somebody would help me out if I were in the same situation. You are a long way from the USA to do very much.

Thank you for your reply guys! I thought it might fishy. The members (or not members?) user ID is sugarbear889. They have not paid nor they did make any contact. I'm just worried that if they do pay, it might be some PayPal fraud or something that will get me into a chargeback situation.

I've just had this happen to me (I've started a thread about it). Different user ID but it was from the USA
Rule 1. Don't ship until you're paid.
Rule 2. Use tracked shipping. (if worried. some say, always.)
