skrill/moneybookers payment pending HELPPPPP

hi im new to ebid and i have sold my first item,the moneybookers payment is showing as pending why is this please and what do i do now as the email stating id received payment,but its pending advices me obviously not to post until cleared.why would it be pending,thankyou in advance

You most likely need to log into your Moneybookers (Skrill) account and accept the payment. You can, if you wish, set your account to automatically accept such payments in the future. See the FAQ: https://www.moneybookers.com/app/faq.pl?gid=3&qid=301

The only other thing I can think of then is that the card issuer has not cleared the payment, or insufficient funds in their Skrill account balance.

I'm not that familiar with Skrill. Although I have an account I have yet to have anyone pay me using it - so have not gone through a payment process.

Like most things in life...if you sleep on it it may sort itself out by morning.

so to update the buyer says it left his account when he paid as were are both new to ebid does he need to leave feedback for my payment is released pleaseeeeee help im lost here

You need to talk to Skrill support. They can look into the transaction and see if there are any issues. I don't think it is really an ebid issue at this point

I've had this happen before with Skrill. It might be that the buyer has paid by echeque and it takes a little while to clear. With paypal you can see that written in your account but Skrill doesn't seem to log it in anyway which is annoying.

My buyer's payment cleared after about three days, which is quicker than the time paypal usually takes, so I wouldn't panic ! Just explain to your buyer that you will send as soon as it clears.
