I ended up getting the council pest control man a few years back after getting ants/flying ants in the house, (horrible!) he sprayed inside and out the following spring and no problem since.
To be on the safe side I use a spray called dethlac, it dries to a lacquer finish so doesn't wash away, just needs re-applying about once a month.
morning folks , I bought the tree , planted it, and have waited around 6 years for some sign that it was ok...but I will not put baby powder on them or molly coddle them in any way now ... they do or they don't...but I really hope they do.......please..........papa.

I have a barren plum, and I bought a replacement which I am bringing on in a container until it is stronger.
But now the barren plum has a single very large plum ,,,

hI Bill , I seem to remember seeing/hearing if you knock an old rusty nail in to a fruit tree it will bear fruit ?? will not swear to it tho............papa.
