Default what photo editor is popular now?

I'm ready to start listing seriously again and have taken pictures but am having trouble with photo editors.

I tried picmonkey but it was slow doing one at a time. I downloaded picasa and it is in my programs but I can't find a way to open it so don't know if I skipped something in the download process.

At this rate the listing is not happening! lol or maybe sol (sobbing out loud).

Thanks for any help you might give me, I'll keep plugging along and see if I can get it figured out too.

    I use Photo Elements,
Started with version 2, now using version 9.
I am very satisfied in that it does what I need it to do.
I take each image and care for it by itself, not into multi facted tasks
It isnt as simple as one may want, however with a little bit of learning the ins and outs,
    it may work for you

I use photoshop elements as well and find it does all I want, I do have photosuite but it was over my head a bit.

I use fotosizer professional edition V2.1 (www fotosizer com)(free download for basic program, and quite cheap to upgrade to the Pro version) for sizing and watermarking & and Paint Shop Pro 7 (which came free on a magazine back in 2001) If I want to retouch postcards to make prints from

Besides PicMonkey I also use Befunky.com, another free site, nothing to download, self explanatory user interface (even a Luddite like me got it right off) and it goes pretty fast. Lots of fun editing tools, too.

Best wishes for many sales to all,

This may be a great program but you scared me off by saying it isn't simple (may give it a try when I have more time)

I gave this a try but must have missed something, it only made it black around the picture when I cropped it instead of cutting out and bringing the picture to the forefront like some do.
