Here's the problem !

I need to buy a toner refill bottle for my Brother Laser printer.

I did a search on ebid in the UK - 0 items
On ebid USA - 6 items none of which were toner refill bottles
on ebay,4,600 ! of all different types of toner and acccessories!

On our own local Trademe site in litle old NZ there were about 10 listings of which 3 were what I need.

You are quite right, we need more choice. I always look on eBid first, if it is available at a fair price I will buy on eBid. Frequently though I have to go elsewhere. Last week the OH wanted some essential oils that we have bought on eBid previously, the seller no longer sells on eBid. I did contact them to see if they were going to be relisting but without reply.

The situation has improved, but listings seem to be a little stuck at the moment, though those there are more likely to be from responsible sellers. We do need to attract more sellers, but that is an issue that has been covered many times in the forums.

Julie, I did a search for "toner refill" and the search engine came up with 31 listings. Don't know if any of them are what you're looking for but 31 is far more than 6.

yes... but if you don't want one, you don't want one. It feels as if she wants the rest of us to list tons so that we will bring in customers for her items.

I wanted "Brother" toner refills.

I will try to get my listings back up to 10 or so.

But really, there is not much point in my listing the sort of other stuff (books, clothes, nz magazines and clutter) that I sell here in NZ on our local TM site, on ebid as the postage to the UK or the USA would kill any sales.

(And there are only about 10 NZ members on ebid in NZ so they are not going to buy from me either)

And yes Madelaine, I do try to help ebid so that more people from the UK and USA may buy my unique items.
