    I have the odd problem (touch wood), but then every shop owner who runs a bricks and mortar shop has theft and really daft/awkward customers to deal with.
    That's life, you deal with the public, and you get all sorts.
    Apart from thieves, I have found that all a customer really wants is to be treated with respect, and have their needs or complaints heard..
    I know there is always an exception to the rule but generally speaking, I have never seen a vegetarian Shark (whatever that means).

    oh well Pink your choice...and I think I really understand....but this is like buying in shop A and then complaining in shop B.....I have seen how nasty some of the ebay members can be..but as we think we know....they will never learn if they are never told....go on , tell them ...get it off your chest....lol... ......papa.

    My intention in starting this thread was to inform rather than complain.

    The item was not expensive and neither was the P&P . Small beer really.

    The implications of this shoddy practice though are huge.

    The reason for posting on ebid is to add to the comparisons that "Da Boys" have already made between ebid and ebay.

    As for listing over there on free listing days; I agree with Mel,you have to get the sales when and wherever you can get them.

    If I get no FB by the end of the week I'll be contacting ebay support & the seller and asking why my item has been retained and why ebay allowed this to happen.

    I'll be on my best behaviour so as not to provoke the tyrant.
