Free Shippin and other Star Logos etc

Hi, not sure if this has been mentioned anywhere on here before, apologies if I am covering old ground.

But (there may be already? If so perhaps you could send me in the correct direction)....perhaps a big yellow star like symbol with `FREE P&P` or similar if a person selects Free P&P as a postage option.....make the listing stand out from the crowd?

Could apply to other promotions? (The sale one for example is a fantastic idea)

there is no such thing as free postage what there is is postage added to the item price in the first place so "free postage" should be called "postage included"

It depends which way you look at it maybe?

If I have an item that I want 10 for plus £2 postage.......but I then do a `special` 2 weeks later at £10 but Free P&P......does that classify as `Free` P&P??

Postage included I guess is better if you list `Free` P&P from the outset as yes, I can see it is wound into the total.....

Either way I feel a nice `star` or whatever....similar to the Sale idea......may be a relevant suggestion.

Sorry, but it always makes me smile whenever someone jumps in with the above statement.

Of course nothing is free. Free Postage/shipping is just an advertising ploy but it still works just the same as the BOGOF offers. They don't actually give you one free in BOGOF, it just means that they are normally charging you double what they could be charging.

I bought some leathercraft hardware the other day for 18p with free p&p.There's no way that covers their costs.

FREE Postage... means it cost the buyer nada for postage. It can be used as a good selling point for seller/s even if seller is selling an item for 50cents USA and invoice reads 50cents to the buyer. that is FREE postage. Buyer is only paying 50 cents period.
Why? do folks here not understand what Free Postage is and means. YES there is FREE postage to and for a buyer if offering says Free Shipping. I have NEVER added FREE Postage to the cost of my item/s, never.
