Bell Star Helmet? Please help me find one.

Im after a Bell Star Helmet, they do crop up every now and then....but never in a L/XL (58+) for my odd sized head!

Prefer black but white is fine

Other helmet of a similar look would be considered

I acquired an 80s Kwacker and would like to keep the look correct, my open face and goggles/scarf combo looks odd!

Just a long shot



Cheekily if you find any old helmets, jackets or even better parts or even bikes! perhaps let me know as I`m always on the look out......sorry, can never ignore a possible lead plug where possible

I think you may need to be more specific about what you are after. Searching Google images for "Bell Star Helmet" returns images with different styles and designs. Whilst I do not have any of the designs shown, someone else may.

I put the link up as I couldn't work out how to put a picture in the Thread.

The Bell Star im after is the same design as shown. It came in black or White and had the Line design with Bellstar around the chin area......they also had a slightly raised nose area and Perspex visor.....

Bell still make the Bellstar II which is a later development and the original Bellstar is a hideous heavy fibreglass thing which looks more like a space helmet off an Action Man figure!

That's the one Damian......out of interest could you post an easy to follow `how to` for putting photos in posts?.....or I`m sure its prob on here somewhere, point me to where I can find how as I cant find it.......no problem if not. I`ll keep trawling. Thanks.

This is how I put pics in forum posts:

I am using Advanced Editor.
Click Go Advanced on where you want to post.
See the attachments (paper clip) icon to right of smiley face? Click that.
Click Add Files > Select Files > Choose your pic from your computer.
Click upload > Click Done.
Go back to your post > click paper clip icon again then click the pic you have uploaded.

Tip: number of pixels for pics in forum posts shouldn't be too big ~
about 300-500 is about right I think.

Excellent, many thanks!! That makes sense even to me.

I have just twigged the `advanced` icon......always a bit fearful of anything advanced with relation to computers, I once tried to `clean up` my old one and ended up in all sorts of trouble!
