We're not even out of September and I've just seen an advert talking about matching Boxing Day sale prices. Christmas has come early.

Not including year-round Christmas stores, have you seen Christmas references somewhere else? Has another advert caught your eye?

How long do you think it'll be before we get Christmas adverts in April or May?

I was in Liverpool and surrounding areas the other week and a whole load of stores had Christmas displays. In saying that, I got a Christmas catalogue from Studio in JUNE! Gives me the heebie jeebies!

that particular ad fer a sofa company has been runnin since august

a certain shoppin channel started doin days dedicated to countdown to xmas tis month

Some of our card shops have had xmas cards since the end of july and not just odd one- huge displays.

If you watch in January and Feb there is usually an add on tv for the following christmas-- asking people to start selling hampers etc (i think) to give an income for xmas. Not quite the same I know.
Went to a garden centre today,mainly for next years veg seeds, and bought a small xmas tree with battery powered lights (needed a new one for the hall)-- I know its early but they usually sell out quickly! Missed out on something last year cos we waited till November!

Perhaps it's a sign that sellers here need to start considering their stocks for the coming season. The big companies prepare months in advance, so maybe some sellers here should follow their example.

I have noticed in the past that sellers here seem to miss out on a lot of the themes that draw in money for larger sellers - whether it's halloween, Christmas, Father's day or whatever.

We had studio catualogue either June or July have actually had delieery this week & need to pay bill next week, the prices in there were to good not to have actually when the Account arrived today it had lots of offers but not as good as we allready had.

Yes I have started buying bits when see them for Xmas presents. so will have to see if have any to add here.

Went Lakeside about two weeks ago and a few shops over there had Christmas stuff out. The range as one half of the top floor done out in a Christmas display also primark have their Christmas jumpers and onsies out, I bought 3 jumpers and a pair of Christmas slippers. Asda also as Christmas jumpers etc, the local smokers had Christmas cards out in the middle of august and the local charity shop as had Christmas stuff out and their window done as Halloween for the last 3 weeks.

Not that I am or have the right to moan, I love Christmas and have had Christmas cd's and dvd's listed all year. Now who as the Eggnog
