I been waiting for a reply for my email asking for access to API
Ebid Store for quality compatible and remanufactured inkjet cartridges

This might be my lack on knowledge when it comes to computer programing, but how would API be beneficial to eBid?
Here are the links to my three ebid stores. Check them out and support a student!

The main benefit of having an API is that it opens up eBid to outside developers in a safe and secure way. So, for example, if someone wanted to write a stock control system for use on eBid they would have access via the API to the needed routines to do so. This was the main reason why many were clamouring for an API - no sign of it being used yet though.
The API also creates a set of building blocks for any internal or external projects. Rather than writing all new code you just gather together the existing blocks you need and arrange them in the order you want to achieve the end result. This makes for quicker and less error prone development.
The API also makes maintenance easier. If a problem is found in an API routine then fixing it also fixes the problem anywhere that routine is used. Equally, enhancements or new features added to an API routine are instantly propagated to all places that use that routine.
