This could be a novel idea for ebid

If they'd just focus on doing an API to "hook in" to specific parts of the website features and functionality, there'd be people coming out the woodwork developing Apps and plugins and applications like Auctiva, Blackthorne, SixBit, and more, as well as apps for just about every smart phone on the planet, that do almost anything you can think of (and probably stuff no one has thought of yet!) in record time.

The only problem with that is the advertising revenue goes to the producer of the apps, rather than back to ebid.

But if they wanted to produce it faster I am sure there are a million indian programmers out there that would oblige for 50p a product or a little more if you wanted it to work right.

Not sure the site is set up for that though as i still keep seeing size rather than percentage being used.

I have sold things on ebid
And I am listing on ebid

But yes I have not sold much lately, probably due to the tyranny of distance. (high postage costs)
