Advantages of having stores

Just wanting to know if and what the advantages of opening eBid stores are.

Just wanting to know if and what the advantages of opening eBid stores are.

1. It gives you more identity as a seller.
2. Makes it easier for buyer navigation around your listings when similar items are within a shop.
3. There is extra exposure as your store goes on the store list, buyers will often look for stores under the categories that they are interested in.
4. (This is the most important) There are no disadvantages.

I often think of the stores like this:

A store has it's own place within a shopping mall. A Store has a shop front and the shop sign is a form of advertising and provides some familiarity with buyers. It is easier to find things in a store

Having no store is akin to scattering products haphazardly over the shopping mall.

It is just one of the big advantages of eBid - for SELLER+ you get 5 stores for free, for life. On another site just one shop would cost a minimum of $20 a month, every month. So it really puzzles me to consistently see sellers with no shop.

It makes it much easier to keep track of our listings.

When someone looks at one of our listings, it makes it easier for them to find similar items we have listed.

Potential customers may choose the "Stores" tab, find one of our stores in the category they're looking for, and that may get them to come in and browse.

And make full use of the excllent "Bulk Edit" Tool as items for editing can easily be selected by the shop, its categories, and their sub categories.

Guess I still have the ebay mentality of throwing up items willy nilly and see what sells.
