The answer to that lies in the price the seller paid for the item, and the mark-up.
If both of those are right, the rest will follow.
The time for listing, wrapping, and travelling to the Post Office come under the heading of "work", payment for which comes out of the profit.
The rewards come not only in the form of money:
Being able to generate an income (however small) from nothing but your own efforts.
Supplying people with things they want and value, thus increasing the sum of human happiness.
Keeping sellers (me especially) off the streets.
Without eBid, I would have probably joined a gang!
I expect the success rate or not is down to how much work you're prepared to put in to sell items. I do this as a hobby and even though I do not list very often, i have made sales even with the few meagre listings i have on here at any time
I love Ebid though, far better and friendlier than the other bunch.
