Yes and Yes.
I have over 1,700 items sold this year, so far.
yes I do sell here but I also sell on other sites but this is how I earn a living so I have to spread my listings around
Hello April & welcome! Yes, I make money here. Not a huge amount but with no risks as there are no listing fees.
You need
http://www.mootango.webspace.virginmedia.com/ebidkb.htm
Before you get any more items listed, open at least one store (you've paid for the right to open 5) and put your items into it. Then complete your all about page - buyers prefer it - The picture is a good start.

My Postcard Shop
BK Stamps for Philatelic listings
& Yarnalong for craft patterns
and
Lotzabitz -anything that doesn't belong in one of the other shops.
Yep, I get good sales here, and yes I do make profit, so is all good.
Welcome to eBid - the friendly site.
Answer 1. - Yes
Answer 2 - Yes.
You need to read the posts and the threads given to you to learn how to make eBid work for you.
It is different to The Dark Side, and you need to approach things differently.
Good luck with your future sales.
Yes, I agree that it is different here and an adjusted approach is necessary.
Also ... and I don't mean this in a negative way. Just for information. There is an announcement at the beginning of the "Plug Your Auction" section that outlines the regulations for the plugs.
Only one thread at a time. The thread can only be bumped once per 24 hour period. If a person puts a conversational type thread in the plugs and other people respond inadvertently, that counts as a bump and your thread may be pulled if the bumps are noticed or reported.
You can delete or lock your plug threads by going into the thread and then clicking on administrative. (Can also move threads there if you discover that your thread is in the wrong section.)
Edited to Add .... It doesn't hurt to offer international shipping, even if it seems expensive. If you don't offer items to other countries, then people in those countries can't see your listings easily. They must change the country url to have a look.
