It is in the teens here and supposed to be below o by morning with freezing rain beginning about noon today and 4"-6" snow on top of that. What a way to start the winter! Sometimes we have a start like this then the rest of the winter is milder--sure hope that is so this time but not what is predicted.

The first day of winter is the warmest day we have had in weeks ... 50F!

We are getting the freezing rain now, it started a couple of hours ago so will see what else we get by morning!

Brrrrrrrr - cold in MO! It rained and poured here last night.....I'm sure I saw Noah and his ark floating past the upstairs bedroom window. And we live in the hills..................

Yesterday was horrible for 1st day of winter, not surprised you saw ark float by, This morning it is bright but a very cold morning here Hope everyone else is getting the sunshine.

The snow has hidden the ice so it looks beautiful if you are able to stay in and just look out. OH had to go take care of cattle and has just now come in.

Church services were canceled but we couldn't have gotten there anyway.
