International Shipping Insurance?

I have a high value item to ship overseas. Is there anyone out there who can recommend a good carrier with a fair rate for insurance?
The item is higher than the £500 maximum offered by International Signed for and Parcel force charge a fortune for insurance.
Any ideas would be gratefully received.

Thanks terry5732, I don't know but they look really interesting. I have dropped them an email. I hope they do work in the U.K. they could make a fair amount of money out of me over the year if they will insure from the uk.

Sadly U-pic is a no go. Orders must originate from the U.S. or Canada, sob!

To get prices you need the following

Weight
Length x width x height
Value you want it covered for.

Then pop to a 3rd party site, parcelmonkey / parcel2go / interparcel and compare all prices on all sites, be careful to compare like for like with the insurance.
