If you have your email settings right, you don't need to check into eBid everyday. EBid will send you an email every time you make a sale or receive a bid above your reserve. Works for me even if I do check in every day.

Very true, Tony. But I think that if I stopped looking in I would lose interest altogether.

Lack of sales spurs me on to list more, I just wish it didn't take me so long, I seem to be ages just getting one done.

Happy new year to all!!!
No sales yet this year but early days and I am sure previous repeating customers will check in soon. Also I am sure I will see an increase as soon as I list new items as is usually the case.
I hope this year is a productive one for all Ebidders!!! :-))

Have you tried setting a selling default that you can copy and edit?
It's a bit cranky, but it works.

I find the easiest of all is just to list something similar, and edit.

Used your candles on the table at Christmas - brilliant.

50! but that does include a binge by possibly the best postcard customer of eBid!

Is the key to success on ebid more listings more sales? small amount of listings on other sites?

What worked for me last year
informing buyers from these other sites
pinterest
including business leaflets/cards in your packages (last few months of 2013)
using ebid tell a friend (omitting "check this out")

Although it is annoying when you have told a new buyer about ebid only to see they have been unregistered after their first purchase!!

The candles are nice, I forgot to put mine out so I'm glad you were pleased with them.

The actual listing isn't too bad, I have done a few similar and then edited but thinking on it I will do that a lot more. I have also taken your advice on the times and most of mine now I list for 6 days and one or two hours.
I find the worse bit is taking photo's which I seem to be forever getting the right angles, light, distance, focus and colour without breaking my neck falling of the arm of the chair or cupboard or wherever I am perched to get the best one. Then I sit for ages measuring and trying to describe it, during which time I have been off to make two or three cups of tea and wonder why an hour has passed and I only have one listing to show for it!
