Thread: eBid Practice of Deleting Listings Duplicates, Wrong Category, Banned Items

  1. #1

Default eBid Practice of Deleting Listings Duplicates, Wrong Category, Banned Items

This has been suggested many times before.

Please implement a system to close the listings instead of deleting them.

A seller can easily make an error and unintentionally break one of the listing rules.

Having to recreate a listing instead of doing a simple edit wastes time that could be used listing new stock.

It's very frustrating. This must be especially frustrating for new sellers.

I have raised this issue and supported others that have and I will continue to do so here. It is very frustrating and happened to me today even though my listings have been up for months and been through numerous auto reposts.

Please please eBid close instead of delete!

Don't hold your breath, people have been asking for this for a long time & once again eBid does nothing.

You've mailed support of course? What did they reply?

Probably, "not on our priority list" even though many members have asked before this thread was started today.

No I didn't email support. I got the standard 'wrong category' email that they send out. Have no idea what my mistake was, category wise.

If you don't persevere then don't expect improvement. Remember: the squeaky wheel gets the grease.
