    Default Legal Will advice

Hope everyone had a great xmas & new year. Rarely on here now due to all sorts of reasons.

My question is, Each page of a will does it have to be dated & signed. Does anyone have a picture to what a legal will made by a solicitor should look like. Im contesting my Grandfathers will, and it has 2 sheets of paper. The first sheet being very basic with no solicitor heading ect and no signature or date on it, the 2nd page has dates & signatures. I find this unusual and dont believe it is authentic. Im waiting to hear from a sollicitor to see if I can get an appointment for them to check it out for me. Thanks

Only the last page has to be signed and dated in England & Wales (witnessed too!)

and a will doesn't have to be drawn up by a solicitor to be legal either.

    Good luck!

If you feel unfairly treated, I hope you find justice.

Contesting a will can be a very lengthy and expensive business. A friend of mine contested his brothers will and it took him seven years to sort it out and a very hefty legal bill.

However, if you believe the will is not authentic and you have cast iron proof you should not have a problem.

Look up Probate Law, it can be very helpful

    Best wishes

You might have grounds if the two pages appear to different, or written at different times.e
